On January 10, 2025, at the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), a Closing and Appreciation Ceremony was held to honor the units that participated in the construction of the 500kV Transmission Line (Circuit 3) from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen). At the ceremony, PCC5 was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from Vietnam Electricity (EVN), recognizing the company’s outstanding contributions to the success of the project.
EVNHCMC Installs Project Plaque for the “Renovation of the 110kV Chợ Lớn Substation”
On the morning of December 17, 2024, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) held a plaque installation ceremony for the project “Renovation of the 110kV Chợ Lớn Substation.” This project is part of a trade union-level emulation program under the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Electricity Sector (December 21, 1954 – December 21, 2024).
Energization and Commissioning of the 110kV Quy Nhơn Port Substation Project and Connection Line
On September 29, 2024, Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company No. 5 (PCC5) successfully completed the construction package: **“CPC-CangQuyNhon-PC01: Supply of materials and equipment, construction, and testing & commissioning of the 110kV transmission line”** under the project **“110kV Quy Nhơn Port Substation and Connection Line.”** The project was inspected and energized by the Acceptance Council of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), chaired by Mr. Lê Hữu Danh – Deputy General Director – together with the Central Rural Power Project Management Board (CPCCREB) and Bình Định Power Company. All components were accepted and energized, officially putting the **110kV Quy Nhơn Port Substation and its connection line** into full operation. With strong determination to meet the project deadline, PCC5, along with other involved parties, worked tirelessly day and night to ensure the project was completed on schedule. This achievement marked a meaningful milestone in celebration of the **49th anniversary of EVNCPC’s founding**.

The 110kV Quy Nhơn Port Substation and Connection Line Project is a key power grid project under the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), included in the Bình Định Province Power Development Plan for the 2016–2025 period, with a vision toward 2035. This is a large-scale project utilizing advanced and modern technology, aimed at enhancing the stable electricity supply for Quy Nhơn City and Quy Nhơn Port, while also fully meeting the development needs of the smart urban power grid in Bình Định Province. The project has a total investment of VND 298 billion and is currently in its final construction phase, striving to meet the target energization date in October 2024.

Construction Progress of Package G55 – 500kV Transmission Line Project from Nam Dinh 1 Thermal Power Plant to Pho Noi
Following the consistent directives throughout the construction process from EVNNPT and the Northern Power Projects Management Board, along with the strong leadership of the Company’s Board of Directors, the Site Command Board of Package G55 – 500kV Transmission Line Project from Nam Dinh 1 Thermal Power Plant to Pho Noi – has been determined to accelerate the project progress. Detailed plans have been carefully prepared to ensure that upon completion of one work item, the next is immediately implemented, thereby ensuring no delays in the workflow.

Today (January 22), the Power Grid Project Management Board under the Southern Power Corporation, in coordination with Binh Phuoc Power Company, conducted the acceptance testing and energization of the 110kV substation at Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park, Chon Thanh District.
